Ingredients

  • 1 liter water
  • 200 grams smoked sausage (kielbasa)
  • 150 grams potatoes
  • 1 cup sourdough starter
  • 1 medium onion
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 teaspoon dried marjoram
  • to taste none salt and pepper
  • 4 pieces hard-boiled eggs
  • fresh dill none for garnish

Method

    In a large pot, bring 1 liter of water to a boil.

    Add the diced potatoes and cook for about 10 minutes until slightly tender.

    In a separate pan, sauté the chopped onion and minced garlic until translucent.

    Add the sautéed onion and garlic, along with the smoked sausage slices to the pot with potatoes.

    Stir in the sourdough starter and season with dried marjoram, salt, and pepper. Let it simmer for 30 minutes.

    Taste and adjust the seasoning if necessary.

    Serve hot, garnished with halved hard-boiled eggs and fresh dill.
