Savor the vibrant flavors of this Vegetable Stir Fry, featuring crisp peppers, sweet pineapple, and a hint of ginger. Ideal for a quick weeknight dinner that brings a taste of Asia to your table.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 2 onions
  • 2 peppers
  • 1 pkt celery
  • 1 tsp garlic
  • 1 Tbsp ginger
  • 1/2 cabbage
  • 1 small tin pineapple pieces
  • soy sauce and seasoning
  • cornflour for thickening

Method

    Slice all the vegetables into thin strips.

    Heat the oil.

  3. 3

    Add the onions, celery, garlic and ginger and peppers. Cook slightly.

    Add all the cabbage and fry the vegetables on very high heat.

  5. 5

    Lastly add the pineapple pieces together with some of the liquid and soy sauce.

    If there is a lot of liquid it can be thickened with a paste of cornflour.

    Check the seasoning before serving.

Notes

Please note that you can use a large variety of vegetables for a stir fry. This recipe is for the basic stir fry.
