Indulge in these rich and velvety dark chocolate truffles, infused with a hint of vanilla and dusted with cocoa powder. Perfect for a cozy evening treat or as a luxurious gift for special occasions.

- 200 g dark chocolate
- 100 ml heavy cream
- 50 g unsweetened cocoa powder
- 30 g butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract

Method

In a heatproof bowl, combine the finely chopped dark chocolate and softened butter.

In a small saucepan, heat the heavy cream over medium heat until just boiling, then pour it over the chocolate and butter mixture.

Let the mixture sit for a minute, then stir until smooth and glossy. Add vanilla extract and a pinch of salt, then mix well.

Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for about 10 minutes until it is firm enough to handle.

Once firm, use a melon baller or your hands to scoop and form the mixture into small balls.
