Ingredients

  • 500 grams dried broad beans
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 tablespoon ground cumin
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

    Rinse and soak the dried broad beans in water overnight to soften them.

    Drain the soaked beans and place them in a large pot. Add enough water to cover them by about 2 inches.
