Ingredients

  • 2 cups russet potatoes
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 4 cups vegetable oil

Method

    Peel and grate the russet potatoes. Place them in a clean kitchen towel and squeeze out excess moisture.

    In a mixing bowl, combine the grated potatoes, all-purpose flour, beaten egg, salt, black pepper, and onion powder. Mix until well combined.
