IngredientsWhat you need
- 500 grams lamb or beef, cut into pieces
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 teaspoons ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon ground turmeric
- 1 liter water
- 4 pieces flatbread (Khubz), torn into pieces

- pepper to taste black pepper
Method
- 1
Heat the vegetable oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté until soft and translucent.

Add the minced garlic, ground cumin, and ground turmeric to the pot. Stir well and cook for another minute until fragrant.
- 3
Add the lamb or beef pieces to the pot, cooking until browned on all sides.

Pour in the water, season with salt and black pepper, and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 40-50 minutes until the meat is tender.
