- 400 grams spaghetti or tallarines
- 2 cups fresh basil leaves
- 1 cup spinach leaves
- 1 medium garlic clove
- 1/4 cup walnuts
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- Salt to taste salt
Method

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the spaghetti or tallarines according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

In a blender or food processor, combine the basil leaves, spinach, garlic, walnuts, Parmesan cheese, and olive oil. Blend until smooth, adding a little water if needed to reach desired consistency.

Taste the sauce and season with salt as needed. Blend again to incorporate the salt.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked pasta and the green sauce. Toss well to coat the pasta evenly with the sauce.

Serve the Tallarines Verdes immediately, garnished with extra grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
