Savor the comforting embrace of tallarines, a vibrant pasta dish bursting with the rich flavors of ground beef, bell peppers, and a hint of garlic. Ideal for a cozy weeknight dinner that brings the family together.
IngredientsWhat you need
- 300 grams tallarines (pasta)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 medium onion
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 cup bell pepper
- 400 grams ground beef
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley
Method
- 1
Cook the tallarines in boiling salted water according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- 2
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent, about 5 minutes.
- 3
Add the minced garlic and bell pepper to the skillet, cooking for an additional 3-4 minutes until they soften.
- 4
Stir in the ground beef, cooking until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Break up meat with a spatula as it cooks.
- 5
Pour in the tomato sauce and add salt and black pepper. Let it simmer for about 10 minutes to blend the flavors.
- 6
Combine the cooked tallarines with the meat sauce in the skillet, mixing well to coat the pasta evenly.
- 7
Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley on top.
