Indulge in homemade Tagliatelle, a classic Italian pasta made with simple ingredients like flour and eggs, tossed with rich parmesan. Perfect for a cozy weeknight dinner or a special gathering with loved ones.

Ingredients

  • 300 grams all-purpose flour
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup parmesan cheese

Method

  1. 1

On a clean work surface, form the flour into a mound and create a well in the center.

  2. 2

Crack the eggs into the well and add the salt and olive oil.

  3. 3

Using a fork, gently beat the eggs, gradually incorporating the flour from the edges of the well until a dough begins to form.

  4. 4

Knead the dough for about 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic. Wrap in plastic wrap and let it rest for 30 minutes.

  5. 5

Roll out the dough using a pasta machine or a rolling pin until very thin, then cut into strips to form tagliatelle.

  6. 6

Cook the tagliatelle in a large pot of salted boiling water for about 2-3 minutes until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  7. 7

Serve hot, topped with freshly grated parmesan cheese.
