- 1 medium onion
- 2 cloves garlic
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon cumin

Method

In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat.

Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet, sautéing until the onion is translucent.

In a bowl, combine the cooked rice, cooked beans, cumin, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.

Add the rice and bean mixture to the skillet with the sautéed onion and garlic. Press down gently to flatten the mixture.

Cook for about 5-7 minutes until the bottom is golden brown. Flip the mixture carefully to cook the other side.

Continue cooking for another 5-7 minutes until both sides are golden and crispy.

Once cooked, remove from heat and let it cool slightly before serving.
