- 1 cup rice
- 1 large onion
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 cup pine nuts
Method

Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).

In a pan, melt the butter and sauté the chopped onion until translucent.

Add the rice to the pan and stir for a few minutes until slightly toasted. Add cinnamon, salt, and pepper, and mix well.

Stuff the pigeons with the rice mixture, making sure they are filled but not overly packed.

Place the stuffed pigeons in a baking dish and cover with aluminum foil.

Bake in the preheated oven for about 1 hour, then remove the foil and bake for an additional 30 minutes until golden.
