- 1 cup freekeh
- 1 medium onion
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 large carrot
- 1 liter vegetable broth
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin

In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
