Indulge in the rich, creamy delight of Sheer Khurma, a traditional festive dessert brimming with sweet vermicelli, luscious dates, and aromatic cardamom. Perfect for celebrating special occasions or sharing with loved ones during festive gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup vermicelli
  • 4 cups whole milk
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup dates
  • 1/2 cup almonds
  • 1/2 cup pistachios
  • 1 teaspoon cardamom powder
  • 2 tablespoons ghee

    In a large pot, heat the ghee over medium heat.

    Add the broken vermicelli and fry until golden brown, stirring continuously.

    Pour in the milk and bring it to a gentle boil, stirring occasionally.

    Once boiling, add the sugar, chopped dates, and cardamom powder. Stir well until the sugar dissolves.
