Warm up your weeknight with this hearty sausage casserole, featuring savory pork sausage, tender onions, and a medley of veggies, all topped with melted cheese. It's a comforting one-dish meal that the whole family will love!

Ingredients

  • 1 pkt pork sausage (grilled & cut up)
  • 2 onions (fried till soft)
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 1 cup beef stock
  • worcestershire/soy sauce to taste
  • 2 cups cooked rice (or more)
  • 1 cup mixed veg (or more)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup grated cheese
  • salt & pepper to taste

Method

    Grill and cut up the pork sausage.

    Fry onions till soft.

  3. 3

    Add flour and beef stock to the onions.

  4. 4

    Add Worcestershire or soy sauce to taste.

  5. 5

    Mix in cooked rice and mixed vegetables.

    Add eggs and grated cheese.

  7. 7

    Season with salt and pepper to taste.

    Cook for 45 minutes at 180°C.
