Savor the comforting taste of homemade rissoles, where tender ground beef meets crispy breadcrumbs, enhanced by the warmth of garlic and onion. Ideal for a cozy weeknight dinner or a casual gathering with friends.
IngredientsWhat you need
- 500 g ground beef
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 large onion
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
Method
- 1
In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
- 2
Mix until all ingredients are well combined. You can use your hands for better mixing.
- 3
Shape the mixture into small patties or rounds, about the size of a golf ball, then flatten slightly.
- 4
Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add the rissoles to the pan in batches, being careful not to overcrowd.
- 5
Fry the rissoles for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown and cooked through.
- 6
Remove the rissoles from the pan and place them on paper towels to drain excess oil.
- 7
Serve hot with your choice of sauce or side vegetables.
