Ingredients

  • 300 grams beef
  • 4 cups water
  • 3 medium pickles
  • 2 tablespoons rice
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 tablespoon dill
  • to taste salt and pepper

Method

    In a large pot, bring 4 cups of water to a boil and add the beef. Reduce heat and let simmer for about 40 minutes, skimming off any foam.

    Add the chopped onion to the pot and cook for another 10 minutes until the onion is soft.

    Stir in the rinsed rice and chopped pickles, and continue to simmer for 10 more minutes.
