Indulge in the sweet, almond-infused delight of Punschrulle, a Swedish treat that combines marzipan, rich chocolate, and a hint of punsch liqueur. Perfect for festive gatherings or a cozy afternoon tea.

Ingredients

  • 200 grams marzipan
  • 200 grams punsch liqueur
  • 100 grams sugar
  • 300 grams biscuit crumbs
  • 100 grams dark chocolate
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch salt

Method

  1. 1

In a mixing bowl, combine the biscuit crumbs, sugar, cocoa powder, and a pinch of salt. Mix well.

  2. 2

Add the punsch liqueur and vanilla extract to the dry mixture. Stir until combined.

  3. 3

Add the marzipan to the bowl and mix thoroughly until the mixture is smooth and moldable.

  4. 4

Form the mixture into small, cylindrical shapes, about 5 cm long and 2 cm in diameter.

  5. 5

Melt the dark chocolate in a microwave or double boiler until smooth.

  6. 6

Dip each marzipan roll into the melted chocolate, ensuring they are fully coated.

  7. 7

Place the coated rolls on a parchment-lined tray and refrigerate until the chocolate has set.

  8. 8

Serve chilled as a delicious sweet treat or dessert.
