Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon garlic paste

  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Method

    In a bowl, mix the garlic paste, cumin, paprika, black pepper, soy sauce, vinegar, and salt to create a marinade.

    Coat the butterflied chicken thoroughly with the marinade, making sure to cover all surfaces. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes (or up to overnight for best flavor).

    Preheat your grill or rotisserie to a medium-high heat (about 200°C/400°F).

    Place the marinated chicken on the grill, skin side down. Cook for about 20 minutes, then flip and cook for another 20 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 75°C (165°F).
