- 500 grams all-purpose flour
- 200 ml warm water
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 500 grams feta cheese
- 300 grams chopped spinach

Method

In a large bowl, combine flour and salt. Make a well in the center and add warm water and vegetable oil. Mix until a dough forms.

Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until smooth. Wrap in plastic wrap and let it rest for 30 minutes.

In another bowl, mix the crumbled feta cheese, chopped spinach, egg, and black pepper until well combined.

Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Divide the dough into 2 equal parts, and roll out one part to fit a greased baking dish.

Spread the cheese and spinach filling evenly over the rolled-out dough. Roll out the second part of the dough and cover the filling.

Seal the edges by pressing them together. Cut a few slits on top for steam to escape.

Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.
