Indulge in the sweet, melt-in-your-mouth goodness of Peda, a traditional Indian treat made with milk powder, cardamom, and nuts. Perfect for festive occasions or as a delightful dessert after a family meal.

- 2 cups Milk powder
- 1 can Condensed milk
- 1 tbsp Ghee
- 1 tsp Cardamom powder
- 1/4 cup Chopped nuts
- 2 tbsp Heavy cream
Method

In a non-stick pan, heat the ghee over low heat.

Add the milk powder and fry it for 2-3 minutes until it is slightly roasted and aromatic.

Pour in the condensed milk and heavy cream (if using), stirring continuously to prevent lumps.

Cook the mixture on low heat for about 10-15 minutes, stirring until it thickens and starts to leave the sides of the pan.

Add the cardamom powder and mix well.

Remove from heat and let it cool slightly, until it's manageable to touch.

Grease your hands with ghee and shape small portions of the mixture into round balls or discs.

Garnish with chopped nuts on top and let them cool completely before serving.
