IngredientsWhat you need
- 500 g all-purpose flour
- 250 g butter
- 200 ml water
- 1 tsp salt
- 400 g mushrooms
- 1 medium onion
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 egg for egg wash
Method
- 1
In a large bowl, combine the flour and salt. Add the cold, diced butter and mix until crumbly.
- 2
Slowly add the ice-cold water while mixing until the dough forms. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- 3
In a skillet, sauté the chopped onion in a little butter until translucent. Add the mushrooms and cook until all moisture has evaporated. Season with salt and black pepper.
- 4
Roll out the chilled dough on a floured surface to about 3 mm thickness. Cut into squares (about 10 cm x 10 cm).
- 5
Place a spoonful of the mushroom filling in the center of each square. Fold over and seal the edges by pressing with a fork.
- 6
Preheat the oven to 200°C (392°F). Place the paszteciki on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- 7
Beat the egg and brush it over the top of each pasztecik. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
- 8
Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy your Paszteciki warm!
