Ingredients

  • 300 grams salted codfish
  • 2 medium potatoes
  • 1 medium onion
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley
  • 1 large egg
  • salt to taste
  • oil for frying

Method

    Boil the soaked codfish in water for about 15 minutes until cooked. Drain and let cool.

    In a pot, boil the cubed potatoes until soft. Drain and mash them.

    Flake the cooked codfish and mix it with the mashed potatoes, chopped onion, minced garlic, and parsley in a bowl.

    Add the beaten egg and mix until well combined. Season with salt to taste.

    Form the mixture into small oval-shaped patties.

    In a frying pan, heat the oil over medium heat and fry the patties until golden brown on both sides.
