- 2 cups mashed yam
- 1 cup groundnut (peanut) paste
- 1 medium onion
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 tablespoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
Method

In a bowl, combine the mashed yam, chopped onion, minced garlic, crushed pepper, and salt. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.

Form the mixture into small balls or patties, about the size of a golf ball.

Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat.

Gently place the yam balls or patties into the hot oil, frying until golden brown on all sides, about 8-10 minutes.
