- 1 cup coconut milk
- 1 cup water
- 2 pieces kaffir lime leaves
- 2 pieces lemongrass stalks
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon fried shallots
- 2 pieces hard-boiled eggs

Rinse the jasmine rice under cold water until the water runs clear, then drain well.

In a pot, combine the rinsed jasmine rice, coconut milk, water, torn kaffir lime leaves, bruised lemongrass, and salt.

Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, then reduce to low heat and cover the pot.

Cook for about 25 minutes, or until the rice is tender and the liquid is absorbed.
