Ingredients

  • 2 large green plantains
  • 1 cup coconut milk
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon coconut flakes

Method

    In a large pot, add the water and a pinch of salt. Bring it to a boil.

    Once boiling, add the plantain chunks and cook for about 15-20 minutes or until tender.
