Ingredients

  • 400 grams soft tofu
  • 150 grams ground pork
  • 2 tablespoons Doubanjiang (fermented broad bean paste)
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Sichuan peppercorns
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 scallions Ingredient 7
  • 1 cup chicken broth

Method

  1. 1

Heat a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat and add the ground pork. Stir-fry until browned and cooked through.

  2. 2

Add the minced garlic and crushed Sichuan peppercorns to the wok, stir-frying for an additional minute until fragrant.

  3. 3

Stir in the Doubanjiang and soy sauce, cooking for another 2 minutes to combine the flavors.

  4. 4

  7. 7

Serve hot with steamed rice to complete the meal.
