- 2 cups Basmati rice
- 1 cup green beans
- 1 large onion
- 453.6 g ground beef
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon

In a large pot, bring water to a boil and add soaked Basmati rice. Cook until almost done, about 5-7 minutes, then drain and set aside.

In the same pot, heat a little oil and sauté the chopped onion until golden brown.

Add the ground beef to the onions and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon.

Stir in the turmeric, cinnamon, tomato paste, salt, and pepper. Mix well and cook for an additional 5 minutes.

Add the green beans to the beef mixture and stir to combine. Layer the partially cooked rice on top of the beef and beans, then cover the pot with a lid.

Reduce the heat to low and steam the rice for about 30-35 minutes until fully cooked and fluffy.

Once cooked, gently fluff the Lubia Polo with a fork and serve warm.
