Indulge in the comforting flavors of Lívance, a delightful Eastern European pancake that’s light and fluffy, perfect for a cozy brunch or a sweet treat any time of day, dusted with powdered sugar for a touch of sweetness.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • to taste powdered sugar

Method

    In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Mix well.

    In another bowl, whisk together the milk and egg until smooth.

    Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.

    Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add a little melted butter.
