Ingredients

  • 1 kg beef tongue
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 tbsp cumin
  • 1 tbsp cilantro

Method

    Place the beef tongue in a pot of boiling water and cook for about 20 minutes. Remove, let cool, and peel off the skin.

    Cut the tongue into thin slices and set aside.

    In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
