Indulge in a classic Italian lasagna, layered with rich ground beef, creamy ricotta, and gooey mozzarella, all enveloped in tender pasta sheets. Perfect for a cozy family dinner or a festive gathering.

- 12 sheets lasagna noodles
- 500 g ground beef
- 400 g canned tomatoes
- 2 cups ricotta cheese
- 200 g mozzarella cheese
- 100 g Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp olive oil
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 pinch black pepper
Method

Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).

In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon.

Stir in canned tomatoes, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Let it simmer for about 15 minutes until thickened.

In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese with a pinch of salt and black pepper.

In a baking dish, spread a layer of meat sauce, followed by a layer of lasagna noodles, then a layer of ricotta mixture. Repeat layers, finishing with noodles and meat sauce on top.

Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top of the final layer.

Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until the top is bubbly and golden.
