- 2 cups gram flour (besan)
- 1 cup ghee (clarified butter)
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon cardamom powder
- 1/4 cup chopped nuts (almonds, cashews)
- 2 tablespoons milk
Method

In a heavy-bottomed pan, heat the ghee over medium heat until melted.

Add the gram flour (besan) to the ghee and roast it, stirring continuously for about 5-7 minutes until it turns golden brown and aromatic.

Remove the pan from heat and allow the mixture to cool slightly.

Once the mixture is warm, add the powdered sugar, cardamom powder, and chopped nuts. Mix well until all ingredients are combined.

If the mixture is too dry, add milk, a teaspoon at a time, until it reaches a consistency that allows you to form balls.

Grease your palms with ghee and take small portions of the mixture to roll into round balls (ladoo).

Place the ladoos on a plate and let them cool completely before serving.
