- 500 g beef or veal
- 80 g butter
- 80 g all-purpose flour
- 2 cups beef broth
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- to taste salt and pepper
Method

Melt 40g of butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Add the flour and stir for 1-2 minutes to create a roux.

Gradually add the beef broth to the roux, stirring continuously until the mixture thickens. Season with salt and pepper.

Once thickened, stir in the shredded beef or veal and mix well. Remove from heat and allow to cool completely.

Form the cooled mixture into small cylindrical shapes (kroket) about 5 cm long.

Dip each kroket in beaten eggs, then roll in breadcrumbs to coat evenly.

Heat the remaining butter in a deep frying pan over medium heat. Fry the kroket in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes each side.
