Savor the rich flavors of these tender kebabs, infused with garlic, ginger, and aromatic spices. Perfect for a weeknight dinner or a weekend barbecue, they bring a taste of the Middle East to your table.

Ingredients

  • 500 grams ground lamb or beef
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped
  • Salt to taste salt

Method

  1. 1

In a large bowl, combine the ground lamb or beef, finely chopped onion, minced garlic, grated ginger, cumin powder, coriander powder, red chili powder, and salt.

  2. 2

Mix all the ingredients well until they are evenly combined. You can use your hands for better mixing.

  3. 3

Divide the mixture into small portions and shape them into kebabs or patties.

  4. 4

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Lightly oil the grill or skillet to prevent sticking.

  5. 5

Cook the kebabs for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked and browned on the outside.

  6. 6

Remove the kebabs from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes.

  7. 7

Garnish with chopped fresh cilantro and serve with yogurt sauce or mint chutney.
