- 1 cup bread crumbs
- 1 medium onion, grated
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 500 grams potatoes, sliced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 cup tomato sauce

Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).

In a large bowl, combine ground beef, bread crumbs, grated onion, black pepper, and salt. Mix well until all ingredients are fully incorporated.

Shape the meat mixture into oval patties and set aside.

In a baking dish, layer the sliced potatoes at the bottom. Place the meat patties on top of the potato layer.

Pour the tomato sauce over the patties and drizzle with olive oil.

Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes. Then, remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes to brown the top.
