- 4 ears fresh corn
- 1 cup feta cheese
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 8 whole corn husks
Method

Remove the kernels from the corn and place them in a blender or food processor.

Blend the corn until you obtain a creamy mixture, then add the milk, melted butter, and salt. Blend until well combined.

In a mixing bowl, combine the corn mixture with the crumbled feta cheese.

Lay out the soaked corn husks and place about 2 tablespoons of the corn mixture in the center of each husk.

Fold the sides of the husk over the filling, then fold the bottom up to enclose the mixture. Tie with kitchen twine if needed.

Steam the humitas in a large pot with a steamer basket for about 45-60 minutes, or until the filling is firm and cooked through.

Remove from the steamer and let them cool slightly before serving.

Serve warm, optionally with a drizzle of honey or a sprinkle of additional cheese.
