Savor the wholesome goodness of Health Bread, a hearty blend of nutty wheat flour, sunflower, and sesame seeds, sweetened with honey. Ideal for a nourishing breakfast or a cozy afternoon snack with tea.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups nutty wheat flour
  • 1 cups digestive bran
  • 1/2 cup sunflower seeds
  • 1/2 cup sesame seeds
  • 1 rounded tsp bicarbonate of soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 5 tbsp honey
  • 500 ml buttermilk/plain yoghurt

Method

    Mix all ingredients well.

    Bake at 180°C for 60 minutes.

    Turn off the oven and leave for a further 30 minutes.

Notes

You can substitute honey with 2x honey and 3x sugar.
