Ingredients

  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 large onion
  • 1 large green bell pepper
  • 2 stalks celery
  • 4 cloves garlic

  • 453.6 g shrimp
  • 6 cups chicken broth
  • 2 teaspoons Cajun seasoning

  • 3 cups okra

    In a large pot or Dutch oven, heat vegetable oil over medium heat. Gradually whisk in flour to form a roux.
