Indulge in the warm, aromatic embrace of homemade focaccia, infused with fresh rosemary and a sprinkle of coarse sea salt. This Italian classic is perfect for a cozy weeknight dinner or as a delightful appetizer at your next gathering.

Ingredients

  • 500 grams all-purpose flour
  • 10 grams salt
  • 7 grams active dry yeast
  • 350 ml warm water
  • 50 ml olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary
  • 1 tablespoon coarse sea salt

Method

    In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, salt, and active dry yeast.

    Gradually add the warm water and olive oil to the dry ingredients, mixing until a soft dough forms.

    Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes, or until smooth and elastic.

    Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl, cover with a cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
