- 1 cup vermicelli noodles
- 1/2 cup sweet basil seeds
- 2 tablespoons rose syrup
- 2 cups milk
- 2 scoops vanilla ice cream
- 1 cup crushed ice
- 1 tablespoon sugar
Method

Boil the vermicelli noodles in water for about 5 minutes until they are soft. Drain and set aside.

Soak the sweet basil seeds in water for 30 minutes until they expand and become gelatinous. Drain excess water.

In a saucepan, heat the milk and add sugar if desired. Stir until the sugar dissolves and the milk is warm, but do not boil it.

In serving glasses or bowls, layer the cooked vermicelli, soaked basil seeds, and a splash of rose syrup.

Pour the warm milk over the layered ingredients in each glass.

Add crushed ice on top and finish with a scoop of vanilla ice cream if using.

Drizzle some extra rose syrup on top for garnish and serve immediately.
