IngredientsWhat you need
- 1 cup dried chickpeas
- 1 small onion
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 bunch fresh parsley
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon ground coriander
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- Salt to taste salt
- Oil for frying vegetable oil
Method

Drain and rinse the soaked chickpeas. Place them in a food processor.

Add chopped onion, minced garlic, parsley, cumin, coriander, baking powder, and salt to the food processor.

Pulse the mixture until it's coarse and well blended, but not pureed.

Transfer the mixture to a bowl, cover, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

Heat vegetable oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat.

Shape the chilled mixture into small balls or patties and carefully place them in the hot oil.

Fry until golden brown on all sides, about 3-5 minutes per batch.
