- 500 grams lamb meat
- 200 grams split peas
- 2 medium potatoes
- 1 medium onion
- 3 tablespoons tomato paste
- 1 teaspoon turmeric
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- Salt to taste salt

In a large pot, add the lamb meat, split peas, chopped onion, turmeric, black pepper, and salt.

Pour in the water and bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat.

Once boiling, reduce the heat to low and cover the pot. Let it simmer for about 2 hours.

After 2 hours, add the quartered potatoes and tomato paste to the pot.

Continue to simmer for another 30 minutes or until the potatoes are tender.
