What you need

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup oil
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 6 eggs, separated
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 t baking powder
  • 1 t salt
  • 4 t cocoa

  • 3 cups sifted icing sugar
  • 2 t cocoa
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1-2 T milk or water

Method

    Add milk or water as needed to achieve desired consistency.

    Once cooled, sandwich the cakes together with apricot jam or ice each cake separately.
