Savor the heartwarming flavors of Ukraine with these crispy potato pancakes, infused with onion and served with a dollop of sour cream. Ideal for a cozy weeknight dinner or a festive gathering.

Ingredients

  • 4 medium potatoes
  • 1 medium onion
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup sour cream

    In a large bowl, combine the grated potatoes and finely chopped onion. Mix well until evenly combined.

    Add the beaten eggs, flour, salt, and black pepper to the potato mixture. Stir until all ingredients are well incorporated.

    Heat the vegetable oil in a large frying pan over medium heat. Make sure the oil is hot but not smoking.
