- 500 grams chouriço sausage
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 large onion
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 can chickpeas
- 1 cup fresh parsley

Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

Add the chopped onion and sauté until soft and translucent, about 5 minutes.

Stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

Slice the chouriço sausage into rounds and add it to the skillet. Cook until browned, about 10 minutes.

Add the drained chickpeas to the skillet and stir well to combine. Cook for another 5 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.
