- 200 grams lamb or beef, cut into small cubes
- 1 cup frik (cracked green wheat)
- 1 large onion, finely chopped
- 2 medium carrots, diced
- 2 medium tomatoes, chopped
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 liter water or broth

Method

In a large pot, heat some oil over medium heat and sauté the chopped onion until softened.

Add the lamb or beef cubes to the pot and cook until browned on all sides.

Stir in the diced carrots, chopped tomatoes, and tomato paste, and cook for a few minutes.

Add water or broth, frik, ground cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil.
