- 75 g caster sugar
- 10 g instant yeast
- 10 g salt
- 300 ml milk
- 50 g unsalted butter
- 100 g mixed dried fruit
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 50 g brown sugar
- 1 beaten egg egg wash
Method
- 1
In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, yeast, and salt. Mix well.
- 2
Warm the milk slightly and add it to the dry ingredients along with the melted butter. Mix until a dough forms.

Place the dough in a lightly greased bowl, cover with a clean cloth, and allow it to rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
- 5
Once risen, roll the dough out into a rectangle. Sprinkle the dried fruit, brown sugar, and cinnamon evenly over the surface.
- 6
Roll the dough tightly from one end to the other, then cut it into 12 equal pieces. Arrange them in a greased baking tray, cut side up.
- 7
Cover the tray with a cloth and let the buns rise for another 30 minutes.
- 8
Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Brush the buns with the beaten egg and bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
