  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup diced onion
  • 1 cup diced carrots
  • 1 cup diced celery
  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
