- 1 cup chickpeas
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 1 large onion
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 inch ginger
- 2 medium tomatoes
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1 teaspoon garam masala
- 1 teaspoon red chili powder
- 1 cup water
- to taste salt
