Ingredients

  • 1 cup chickpeas
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1 large onion
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 inch ginger
  • 2 medium tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • 1 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 1 cup water
  • to taste salt
  • fresh cilantro
