Ingredients

  • 1 cup chickpeas (canned or soaked and boiled)
  • 1 medium onion
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala

Method

    Heat the oil in a pan over medium heat.

    Add cumin seeds and let them splutter for a few seconds.

    Add the chopped onion and sauté until golden brown.

    Stir in the chickpeas and cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally.

    Sprinkle in the garam masala and mix well, cooking for another 2-3 minutes.
