Warm up with a hearty bowl of Česnečka, a traditional Czech garlic soup brimming with robust flavors from smoked sausage and marjoram. Perfect for cozy evenings or as a comforting starter at gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 6 cloves garlic
  • 1 liter water
  • 200 grams potatoes
  • 100 grams smoked sausage
  • 1 tablespoon dried marjoram
  • salt to taste salt
  • 4 slices bread

Method

    In a large pot, bring the water to a boil.

    Add the diced potatoes and cook for about 10 minutes until tender.

    Stir in the chopped garlic and sliced sausage, and cook for another 5 minutes.
